Corrosion resistance:

Alloy 1.4404 is known for its good corrosion resistance to many aggressive media such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, seawater or chloride ions. This alloy is also resistant to stress corrosion cracking.

Alloy 1.4404 is widely used in chemical and petrochemical industry, food industry, shipbuilding and medical field.
