General information:
Alloy 1.4418 is a high carbon martensitic stainless steel alloy known primarily for its excellent strength and corrosion resistance. This alloy is also often referred to as "X4CrNiMo16-5-1" or "S165M" and is used in a variety of applications.

Carbon (C): 0.04 - 0.06%
Chromium (Cr): 15.0 - 17.0%
Molybdenum (Mo): 0.8 - 1.5%
Nickel (Ni): 4.0 - 6.0%
Manganese (Mn): 1.5% (max)
Phosphorus (P): 0.035% (max)
Sulfur (S): 0.015% (max)
Silicon (Si): 1.0% (max)
