Corrosion resistance:

The 1.4501 alloy belongs to the super duplex stainless steels and offers excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. It is resistant to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and fatigue corrosion in seawater, acidic and chlorinated solutions. The alloy also features good resistance to intergranular corrosion.
