Corrosion resistance:

Excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, salt water and chloride containing environments

High resistance to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking

Good resistance to oxidizing and reducing media


Heat treatment:

Solution heat treatment at 1150-1200°C followed by rapid water or air quenching
