Corrosion resistance:

The 2.4816 alloy offers very good corrosion resistance to oxidizing and reducing media such as air, water, steam, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid and acetic acid.


Applications:

Alloy 2.4816 is used in various applications such as chemical plants, aircraft construction, nuclear industry, food industry and petrochemical industry due to its excellent corrosion resistance.It is also used for heat exchangers, boilers, furnace linings, catalytic converters and aerospace components.
